BiH Prosecution charges Sarajevan with Incitement to Terrorism

Bosnian Prosecution charged Toni Basic from Sarajevo, born 2,000, with Incitement to Terrorism, Anadolu News Agency reported Wednesday.

“Special Prosecutor from the Terrorism Department of Bosnia's Prosecution indicted a Bosnian citizen Toni Basic, born 2,000 in Sarajevo of inciting others to commit acts of terrorism and sending threats, anti-semitic messages, made inciteful statements against the LGBTI community as well as calls for the execution of terrorist acts on the territory of New York, USA, during 2020, via the Internet and social networks,” the Prosecution said.

The accused is said to have used means of public forms of information to instigate others to commit terrorist acts thus committing a crime of Incitement to Terrorist Activities from Article 202a, in connection with the criminal offence of Terrorism from Article 201 of the CC BiH.

The indictment was submitted to BiH Court.
