“Aegean” will start flights between the two main cities from October 2 this year, with three weekly frequencies, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

“We are delighted to announce and congratulate the ‘Aegean’ on their decision to launch a flight from Skopje to Sarajevo, from October this year, and to provide excellent regional connectivity, from Athens in the south, via Skopje, to Sarajevo in the north of the Balkans. At the same time, this air connection marks a significant milestone in our commitment as an airport operator to improve air travel opportunities for our valued passengers,” said Nejat Kurt, General Manager of TAV Macedonia.

“We are happy that Sarajevo will be reconnected with the capital of North Macedonia – Skopje, after thirteen years. We are especially pleased by the fact that the launch of this route is the result of a joint and very successful cooperation between the two airports. We believe that this line will have good performance and we are looking forward to the first flight of ‘Aegean’ on the route Skopje – Sarajevo!” said Alan Bajić, the director of Sarajevo International Airport.
