Anti-Russia protest in Belgrade ends in incident

Activists of the Russians, Ukrainians, Belarusians and Serbs Against War staged a performance in front of a Christmas tree donated to Belgrade by Russia carrying black banners with the names of Ukrainian cities in red.

One of the men guarding the tree assaulted the dozen or so protesters while others grabbed the banners and tore them up.

The FoNet news agency said a police patrol did not react to prevent the incident.
