“I received the news about the death of the former ambassador of the United States of America to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Clifford G. Bond, a sincere friend of our country with great sadness.

Staying in Bosnia and Herzegovina from 2001 to 2004, Ambassador Bond strongly advocated for the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the full rule of law. Bosnia and Herzegovina will remember Ambassador Clifford G. Bond as one of its most loyal friends.

Dear Excellency, I express my deepest condolences to you, to the family of the respected ambassador Clifford G. Bond, to his friends and to everyone who knew and appreciated him,” Becirovic wrote.
