“This is an attack on the values of the United Nations and the European Union, a danger to Bosnia and Herzegovina and an insult to the victims of genocide. We must strongly oppose such a policy. Only now can we see how important it was that I led the process of adopting the Resolution on the Srebrenica genocide at the United Nations, that we launched a special outreach program within the United Nations, that we unveiled the Srebrenica Flower monument in front of the United Nations headquarters in New York, that we unveiled monuments in Paris, Vienna and numerous other cities around the world, and that educational programs in numerous countries around the world are incorporating content about the genocide against Bosniaks and the aggression against Bosnia and Herzegovina,” he said.

He added that concrete activities to spread the truth about Bosnia and Herzegovina and the genocide committed against Bosniaks should therefore continue in the coming period.

“We cannot abandon the policy of spreading the truth,” Bećirović concluded.
