The Chairwoman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Zeljka Cvijanovic, spoke on Wednesday in Baku with the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, about improving bilateral relations and strengthening cooperation.
“There was a special emphasis on the fields of energy, agriculture and tourism, and a visit by the delegation of the Government of Azerbaijan was agreed upon in order to present the potential for investment in BiH, as well as preparations for the organization of the joint business forum that was agreed upon at today's meeting,” a Presidency statement said.
Cvijanovic expressed her gratitude for the help that Azerbaijan sent to Bosnia’s two entities, Republika Srpska (RS) and the Federation (FBiH), after the floods and the coronavirus pandemic, as well as for the projects that were implemented with the support of the “Heydar Aliyev” Foundation.
The two spoke about the current situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as global and regional political, economic and security issues.
