Vice-Chair of BiH House of Representatives Denis Zvizdic submitted a request Monday to the BiH Constitutional Court for an assessment of the constitutionality of Article 14 of the Law on Citizenship of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
As he announced on his official Twitter account, the goal is to enable the return of Bosnian citizenship for over 100,000 BiH citizens who live in countries that now allow dual citizenship, while, paradoxically, the BiH law prevents it.

Bosnia’s diaspora has been pointing to this problem for years, and Bundestag MP Adis Ahmetovic, who is only one of many successful BiH citizens abroad, was forced to renounce his Bosnian citizenship.
