Bosnia's fourth Pride March will take place in Sarajevo on June 24 under the slogan 'proudly together', the organisers announced last month, providing the participants with further details on Friday, a week prior to the event. Pročitaj više

A press release from the BH Pride March association said the gathering will start on 4 p.m. near the Historical Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The route goes further down the central streets of Zmaja od Bosne, Histea, Obala Kulina Bana, Kulovica, to the Susan Sontag Square, in front of the National Theatre.

The organisers also asked for caution, “as we still live in a homo/bi/trans/queer-phobic society.”

However, they expressed hope that this year's event will “open the hearts of our fellow citizens.”

As for this year's slogan, they stressed that the subject of togetherness is talked about every year, because togetherness and support go hand in hand in the fight for human rights i.e. fight for a better status of any discriminated group.
