The Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Becirovic, held talks with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Lithuania, Ingrida Simonyte, during his official visit to the country.
During the conversation, Becirovic emphasized that his visits to Finland, Sweden, and Lithuania were not coincidental but part of a strategic commitment to strengthen Bosnia and Herzegovina's ties with NATO and EU member states.
He reminded that his first foreign policy visits were to the headquarters of NATO and the EU in Brussels. Becirovic also stressed that all officials of Bosnia and Herzegovina should intensify their foreign policy activities in NATO and EU member states to further highlight the importance of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Euro-Atlantic path.
The discussions highlighted a mutual commitment to strengthening friendly cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Lithuania. Bećirović expressed gratitude for Lithuania’s continuous support for Bosnia and Herzegovina's processes of European and Euro-Atlantic integration. He emphasized that Bosnia and Herzegovina's key strategic goals are full membership in the EU and NATO.
Lithuanian Prime Minister Ingrida Simonyte reiterated Lithuania's firm commitment to supporting Bosnia and Herzegovina in its European and Euro-Atlantic integration process. She also emphasized Lithuania's readiness to assist Bosnia and Herzegovina with its experience and resources in achieving its foreign policy goals.
