Deputy Minister of Security Ivica Bosnjak, on behalf of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, attended today the commemoration on the anniversary of the death of Macedonian President Boris Trajkovski at Matica hill near Mostar.
The delegation of the Government and Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia was led by Ministers Bisera Kostadinovska Stojcevska and Minister Kaja Sukova and MP Sanela Skrijelj.
North Macedonian President Boris Trajkovski, along with his associates and crew members, tragically died in a plane crash while arriving at the 2004 International Investment Conference in Mostar.
Deputy Minister Bosnjak pointed out that even after 20 years since this tragic event, we remember our great friend with great respect and regret that we lost this sincere advocate of a better, stable and prosperous region.
“The premature departure of President Trajkovski was a great loss not only for North Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina but also for the entire region. Bosnia and Herzegovina does not forget and will not forget its true friends, and President Trajkovski was one of them,” emphasized Bosnjak.
