Bosnia's Commission for Cooperation with NATO held a meeting where they discussed the adoption of the Draft BiH Reform Program for 2023, and its referral to the BiH Council of Ministers for further adoption. The preparation of the 2024 Reform Program was also discussed.
Bosnia's Deputy Foreign Minister and Commission Chairman, Josip Brkic, informed the attendees about the activities in preparation for the NATO Partnership 360 Symposium, which will be held in Sarajevo from October 22 to 24, 2024. The coordination of all preparatory activities with NATO is carried out by the state Foreign Ministry.
Brkic recalled that this is a global event at which allies, partner countries and international organizations can discuss common security and other challenges facing our societies.
More specific information about the topics of this year's Symposium, he said, will be known after the NATO Summit in Washington, which is held from July 9 to 11.
The Commission also discussed issues of personnel changes in the composition of the Commission due to the retirement of some members, as well as the issuance of the necessary security permits for access to secret NATO data.
