“I’m ‘92. decided to live in a free democratic state, and politics betrayed it. It is the media that must be the corrective factor of that society. If my generation left their youth in the war, my children deserved to live in a better state, to move freely, to be educated freely. We do not have such a state,” said renowned Bosnian journalist, Arijana Saracevic Helac.

“We need to change the system, create a healthy society, and give the opportunity to other young people who have not appeared on the political scene before,” she said.

According to the BH Journalists Association, Hadzfejzovic was also recently the victim of hate speech and political pressure, allegedly coming from the main Bosniak ethnic party in the country, the Party of Democratic Action (SDA).
