The European Commissioner for Internal Affairs and Migration, Magnus Brunner, and the Commissioner for Democracy, Justice, the Rule of Law and Consumer Protection Michael McGrath are visiting Bosnia and Herzegovina from 30 to 31 October 2025 to take part in the EU – Western Balkans Ministerial Forum on Justice and Home Affairs organised by the Danish Presidency of the Council of the European Union in cooperation with the BiH Ministry of Security and BiH Ministry of Justice.
In the margins of the Ministerial Forum, Commissioner Brunner will hold bilateral meetings with the Chairwoman of the BiH Council of Ministers, Borjana Kristo, Deputy BiH Minister of Security Ivica Bosnjak, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of Serbia, Ivica Dacic and the Minister of Interior of Montenegro, Danilo Saranovic, announced the EU Delegation in BiH.
Commissioner Brunner will also attend an event on Friday, 31 October, hosted by the BiH Border Police at Sarajevo Airport that will present Frontex personnel and equipment that are providing support for strengthening border management and border security in partnership with the Border Police.
In the margins of the Ministerial Forum, Commissioner McGrath will hold bilateral meetings with the Minister of Justice of BiH Davor Bunoza, the Deputy Minister of Justice of Albania Tedi Dobi, the Minister of Justice of Montenegro Bojan Bozovic and the President of Eurojust Michael Schmid.
