Another 15 people passed away due to COVID-19 in Serbia and more than 1,600 tested positive for the virus in the country throughout the past 24 hours, the Health Ministry said on Saturday.

Serbia’s COVID-19 death toll is now 4,214.

Of the 9,091 people tested for the coronavirus in the country since Friday, 1,622 were confirmed infected.

A total of 419,493 coronavirus infections were confirmed among the 2,762,877 people tested in the country since the beginning of the pandemic.

The COVID-19 death rate is one percent.
