Over the last 24 hours, 16 patients died from COVID-19-related complications and out of 13,286 tested, 3,469 people were infected with the coronavirus, Serbia's Health Ministry said on Monday.
To date, COVID-19 claimed a total of 4,459 lives with a mortality rate of 0.96 percent.
On Monday, 3,977 patients were hospitalised, 164 of whom on ventilators.
Since the epidemic outbreak in March 2020, 2,953,793 people have been tested, and 462,728 samples have returned positive for the new virus.
