Coronavirus UPDATE: 20 deaths, 1,839 newly infected in Serbia
Serbia’s Health Ministry said on Wednesday that over the last 24 hours, 20 patients died from COVID-19-related complications, while out of 11,443 people tested, 1,839 were confirmed infected with the coronavirus.
To date, 3,944 patients have died. The mortality rate is 1.01 percent.
On Wednesday, 4,281 patients were hospitalised, 164 of whom on ventilators.
Since the epidemic outbreak, 2,578,207 people have been tested, and 389,045 samples have returned positive for the new virus.
