Over the last 24 hours, 23 patients died from COVID-19-related complications and out of 6,271 tested people, 1,249 were infected with the coronavirus, Serbia's Health Ministry said on Monday.

To date, COVID-19 claimed a total of 6,432 lives with a mortality rate of 0.93 percent.

Currently, a total of 4,493 patients are in hospitals, of whom 141 on ventilators.

Since the epidemic outbreak in March 2020, 3,860,140 people have been tested, ‬and 693,169 samples have returned positive for the new virus.
