Coronavirus UPDATE: 23 deaths, 1,249 newly infected in Serbia
Over the last 24 hours, 23 patients died from COVID-19-related complications and out of 6,271 tested people, 1,249 were infected with the coronavirus, Serbia's Health Ministry said on Monday.
To date, COVID-19 claimed a total of 6,432 lives with a mortality rate of 0.93 percent.
Currently, a total of 4,493 patients are in hospitals, of whom 141 on ventilators.
Since the epidemic outbreak in March 2020, 3,860,140 people have been tested, and 693,169 samples have returned positive for the new virus.
