Coronavirus UPDATE: 38 deaths, 5,107 newly infected in Serbia
Over the last 24 hours, patients died from COVID-19-related complications and out of 17,801 tested people, 5,107 were infected with the coronavirus, Serbia's Health Ministry said on Wednesday.
To date, COVID-19 claimed a total of 5,30 lives with a mortality rate of 0.88 percent.
On Wednesday, 7,368 patients were hospitalised, of whom 290 on ventilators.
Since the epidemic outbreak in March 2020, 3,424,443 people have been tested, and 600,596 samples have returned positive for the new virus.
