“We find that Bosnia and Herzegovina should make headway and adopt those laws that were specified last year as preconditions for a more positive appraisal of the country in the progress report which the European Commission is preparing,” Plenkovic told the press after the end of a two-day EU summit meeting in Brussels.

On 8 November, the EC is expected to publish progress reports on aspirants for EU membership.

The reports serve as a basis for decision making by EU member-states in December concerning approval for the opening of accession negotiations with Ukraine, Moldova and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
