Decline in FBiH trade activity: November exports fall to 915 million Bosnian marks

In November 2025, the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) recorded exports totaling 915,555,000 Bosnian marks (approximately €468,110,000), representing an 11.1 percent decrease compared to October 2025 and a 1.3 percent decline relative to November of the previous year.

Imports during November reached 1,696,903,000 marks (approximately €867,610,000), marking a 10.3 percent drop from October 2025 but reflecting a 1.8 percent increase compared to November 2024.

For the period spanning January to November 2025, exports grew by an average of 1.05 percent per month, while imports saw a marginal average monthly increase of 0.04 percent.

The export-to-import coverage ratio was 54 percent, a decrease of 0.4 percentage points from the 54.4 percent recorded in October 2025. According to data from the FBiH Institute of Statistics, the trade deficit for the Federation of BiH in November 2025 amounted to 781,348,000 marks (approximately €399,496,000).

During November, the primary export markets for the FBiH were Germany, Croatia, and Austria. The largest share of imports originated from Italy, Germany, and China.
