“I urge the EU to stop treating us as an experiment. Let's start with the Dayton Accords. Let's try to see what can be adjusted in that agreement in order for BiH to be functional, what it can and cannot do, and of course to clearly specify all the obligations of entities. This is the moment when BiH must know what it has the right to do. If this crisis is not resolved, the RS will head for the exit, no one should doubt that. No one can prevent that, not even those threatening sanctions. Threats don’t work anymore. This is an area inhabited by Bosniak Muslims, Croat Catholics and Serb Orthodox. Whenever the international community intervened, that was the reason for new conflicts,” Dodik said, among other things.

He called the situation in Bosnia – absurd, saying that two of three constituent peoples “are against the path BiH is heading as envisaged by the Muslims (Bosniaks).”

“BiH is impossible. The relations between the Muslim leadership and Croatia have never been worse, and they are not great with Serbia either. They even needlessly involved Hungary into the situation,” Dodik said, accusing Bosniaks of “spreading orchestrated hateful attacks against Russia and talks of some malign Russian influence.”

The Serb Presidency member then called on an urgent normalization of relations between Bosnia and Serbia, Hungary, Croatia, Kina and Russia.

Dodik also warned that should the international community’s envoy in charge of overseeing the implementation of the civilian aspect of the Dayton Peace Agreement in BiH, High Representative Christian Schmidt try to prevent this entity from its plans, he would not be able to implement any of his decisions on the RS territory.

“We have a situation where a man is brought into the country and introduced as the High Representative without getting the confirmation from the UN Security Council. It will be interesting if Christian Schmidt does something. I'm sorry he's in that situation. I think he's upset. There is nothing he can do,” the leader of the ruling RS party – Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) added.

It is not enough for the United States, Great Britain and Germany to say that he is the High Representative if he has not received the confirmation from the UN Security Council, he concluded.
