The health condition of the Chairman of Bosnia’s tripartite Presidency and its Serb member, Milorad Dodik, who tested positive for the coronavirus last month, is improving by the day and doctors are considering releasing him from the hospital, the University Clinical Center of Republika Srpska said on Monday.
“The Council of Doctors of the University Clinical Center of Republika Srpska stated that the health condition of the Serb member and Chairman of the Presidency of BiH, Mr. Milorad Dodik, is stable and that daily improvements are visible,” a press statement by the hospital said.
“Mr. Dodik feels good and the Council is considering the possibility of releasing him to home treatment soon,” it said.
Dodik was hospitalised on December 20 and was treated for bilateral pneumonia. Days later tested positive for the coronavirus.
By the end of the month, Dodik tested negative for the virus.
