The projects, funded from the Croatian budget for the fifth consecutive year, include infrastructure, kindergartens, schools, healthcare, culture, educational institutions and other needs, and are organised by the Croatian Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds.

Domagoj Mikulic, State Secretary at the Ministry, said that the number of agreements and the amount of funds invested by Croatia in cross-border projects has been increasing year on year.

"The most important thing is that we are encouraging this cooperation, the exchange of knowledge and experience, especially considering that Bosnia and Herzegovina is on its European path. Upon entering the European Union, Bosnia and Herzegovina will have access to significant European funds, just as Croatia did when it joined, and we are already preparing them for everything that lies ahead," Mikulic told the media in Travnik.

Andreja Metelko-Zgombic, State Secretary of the Croatian Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, noted that Croatia is financing projects of crucial importance in predominantly Croatian areas of Bosnia and Herzegovina, thus helping the entire country.

"This is just one of the efforts Croatia is investing in its partnership with Bosnia and Herzegovina. We truly want to help our neighbouring and friendly country become a stable, functioning state of three equal constituent peoples," said Metelko-Zgombic. She also announced continued support for the country, particularly on its European path.

The President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Lidija Bradara, expressed gratitude to Croatia for its support, emphasising that strengthening relations has both practical and symbolic significance in networking people and institutions from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia.
