Eighty locals in the village of Cengic near Bijeljina “went blind" because of the election, requesting help of another person to vote, Bijeljina-based BN television reported Sunday.
All the certificates that the residents of that village went blind “overnight” were signed by the Director of the Bijeljina Health Center Danijela Djukin.
According to RTV BN voting at the polling station in that village was interrupted for almost two hours, but resumed recently.
The most interesting thing was when the inhabitants of that village began to recognize the people who had perfect eyesight on Saturday but lost it completely on Sunday, having to use assistance from other people when voting. Since there was a large number of such cases, the voting was interrupted.
Subsequent checks revealed that these 80 persons were recently issued certificates by the Director of the Bijeljina Health Center, RTV BN.
