In a post on the X platform, it said unilateral calls for changes to the constitutional framework, whether through secession, redrawing borders, integration with neighboring countries or abolishing the entities, are not in line with the provisions of the Dayton Peace Agreement or Bosnia and Herzegovina's European path.

"Such initiatives have no legal basis and undermine stability and security in the country and the wider region," the EU Delegation to BiH said in its post on the social media platform X.

It called on political leaders to refrain from rhetoric that causes divisions and provocations and to respect the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The EU Delegation also stressed that public discourse, particularly during election campaigns, should focus on citizens' expectations regarding the improvement of socioeconomic and environmental conditions, as well as reforms in the areas of the rule of law and democracy, which are necessary for progress toward European Union membership.
