Bosnian actor Moamer Kasumovic was sentenced to one year in prison for the criminal offence of lewd conduct against a minor, N1 learned from the Sarajevo Canton (KS) Prosecutor's Office.

“Based on the records of the KS Prosecutor's Office, we inform you that proceedings were conducted against the mentioned individual for the criminal act of lewd conduct, which was concluded before the Municipal Court in Sarajevo. He was found guilty and sentenced to one year in prison,” Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office told N1.

As reported by Raport, the information of his conduct was revealed after the performance of the Belgrade National Theater “Tiho, tiše”, which was performed as part of the 6th Sarajevo Fest on September 16, at the Sarajevo National Theater. The play was about peer violence accompanied by conversations with the audience.

Then a young man from the audience spoke and said that he was a victim of paedophilia when he was 14 years old and that the perpetrator was a famous actor. When asked who it was, he said it was Moamer Kasumovic (43). In his shocking confession at the National Theater, the young man said that the whole case had a judicial epilogue and that there was a court verdict for it.
