Federation of BiH and China Sinopharm to sign major healthcare investment pact

The formal signing ceremony will take place at the seat of the FBiH Government, featuring Prime Minister Nermin Niksic and authorised representatives from the Chinese corporation. The event will be attended by the FBiH Minister of Health, Nediljko Rimac, alongside officials from the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China.

Adopted by the Government on 2 April, the memorandum establishes a strategic framework for substantial investment in the Federation's healthcare sector. The agreement covers the design and construction of new, state-of-the-art secondary and tertiary healthcare facilities.

In addition to new builds, the partnership outlines significant financial and infrastructural investment into existing medical sites. The initiative aims to modernize current capacities and implement measures to improve the overall quality of healthcare services provided to the public.
