Fire in Konjic contained, fire near Neum remains active

According to the Operational Center of the Civil Protection Administration of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, the Air Tractors operated from 10:50 to 15:30, making nine passes each and dropping approximately 60,000 liters of water, and again from 17:10 to 19:20, making four passes each and dropping approximately 26,500 liters of water.

The fire that has been burning for several days above Kanjina and Zivasnica in Konjic has been contained, while firefighters remain on the ground monitoring the situation.

In the past 24 hours, three fires each were reported in Mostar and Capljina and one in Stolac, all of which were successfully contained.
