Over the last 24 hours, patients died from COVID-19-related complications and out of 12,869 tested, 1,656 were infected with the coronavirus in Serbia, the Health Ministry said on Thursday.

To date, COVID-19 has claimed 7,188‬ lives in the country. The mortality rate is 0.97 percent.

Currently, 917 people are in hospitals, 28 of whom on ventilators.

Since the epidemic outbreak in March 2020, 4,870,940‬ people have officially been tested, and 737,969‬ have been confirmed positive for the coronavirus.
