Driving conditions are favorable, but due to the holiday and extended weekend, traffic volume has increased toward the south of the country, as well as at border crossings. The Sarajevo–Mostar route is particularly busy.

Long queues of vehicles have formed from Bradina toward Konjic. Due to May Day holidays, increased traffic is also expected toward local excursion sites.
There is heavy traffic in both directions at the Gradiška and Brod border crossings, and on the exit from Bosnia and Herzegovina at Doljani and Gabela Polje. Long delays are also reported at the Velika Kladusa, Izacic, Gradina, and Dubica border crossings on entry to the country. At other border crossings, delays are generally less than 30 minutes. Due to bridge damage, the Brcko border crossing can only be used by pedestrians.
Congestion and longer delays at specific border crossings can be monitored more clearly through cameras and a map available via this link.
