Tito's name, in addition to the partisan movement and the anti-fascist struggle that decisively influenced the formation and existence of the former SFRY during World War II, is also associated with the founding of the Non-Aligned Movement, which brought together third world countries and was a unique balance between East and West.

Tito's funeral in Belgrade on May 8, 1980, was attended by more than 200 heads of state or government and high-ranking delegations from as many as 127 countries around the world.

Since 1980, according to available official data, the House of Flowers has been visited by more than 17 million people, including many tourists from Western Europe and America, and an increasing number of visitors from Asian countries - China, Japan, South Korea and Vietnam.
