"I don’t accept the election results, which are an accurate collection of incorrect data, and I will not congratulate Milorad Dodik, because he didn’t win the elections, but came to victory by stealing, which was shown by his actions and attacks in the days behind us," said Jelena Trivic in her first reaction to the results of the control count announced Thursday by the Central Election Commission (CEC).
The Party of Democratic Progress’ (PDP) candidate for the President of the Republika Srpska entity said, without offering any concrete evidence for her claims, that “it is obvious that the CEC succumbed to the pressures that came from the regime, or quite possibly to some other pressures that will be known very soon, as everything is known in advance in BiH and that they trampled on the electoral will of the people, which unfortunately destroyed another institution that, above all, was supposed to serve the people.”
She added that all this process's actors were aware that the elections were allegedly stolen, but that they washed their hands from this alleged election fraud and legalized the election theft and corruption.
“We will not give up this fight, primarily the legal fight, and we will inform the public about all subsequent steps in a timely manner,” Trivic concluded.
