Kupchan: I’m most concerned about BiH, Dodik is trying to stir up passions
The situation in the Western Balkans region is positive today, if we compare it with what happened a decade or two ago. However, it is certain that Russia is trying to use the existing divisions in the Balkan communities in order to bring unrest. At the same time, the time of the pandemic made it possible for some things get worse, said Charles Kupchan, the former advisor to US President Obama and Georgetown University professor, in an interview with N1 during the Sarajevo Security Conference.

Kupchan also talked about the war in Ukraine, but also about the events in the Middle East. Kupchan says that he is most worried about Bosnia and Herzegovina and Republika Srpska (RS) entity because RS President Milorad Dodik is trying to stir up passions.
