Following a devastating 6.2 Richter scale earthquake that hit Croatia Tuesday, half of the Petrinja town was demolished. In it, N1 filmed a heartbreaking scene of a dog guarding what was once his family home.
Families have left the ruins of their homes and many more sought refuge elsewhere because the town still has no electricity and running water is an issue.
One dog stayed behind, waiting for his family to return, for his home to be rebuilt.
