Mount Cvrsnica wildfire remains active, Air Tractor still needed
A fire that broke out in forest, grass and low vegetation on Cvrsnica Mountain, in the Razvale area, is still active, the FBiH Civil Protection Administration (FUCZ) reported.
Professional Firefighting Unit (PVP) and Volunteer Fire Department (DVD) Jablanica firefighters were engaged in extinguishing the fire, which was brought under control in the Jablanica municipality area yesterday, while an Air Tractor aircraft made six passes over the area.
The fire site was inspected in the evening, and active burning of juniper was found, with the continued engagement of the Air Tractor still required.
