Both the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, and the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, have confirmed their arrival in Brussels, and the first meeting is scheduled for eight in the morning with the head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell, and the meeting will also be attended by the EU's special representative for dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, N1’s EU correspondent in Brussels learned Sunday.
It is still not certain with whom the first bilateral meeting will be held, but it is known that both Vucic and Kurti will individually talk with the Brussels hosts.
They are also planning a trilateral meeting in Brussels, but its holding depends on the course and results of bilateral negotiations, as well as on the consent of the two leaders.
Vucic and Kurti sat down at the negotiating table for the last time on August 18, when they agreed to meet once a month in order to solve current problems and prevent a possible escalation of tensions.
Brussels hopes that the negotiations will not last long and that everything could be finished by noon.
