The influences of hard rock and punk rock bands Thunder and Sex Pistols on the British and global music scene are undoubtedly vital. Anarchists, with strong political opinions, paved the way for a more intense struggle for freedom of speech but were often the very target of the establishment.

In an exclusive interview with N1, Glen Matlock, who played bass for the Sex Pistols and Luke Morley, the songwriter and guitarist for the band Thunder and Whitney Ribbins, the representative of British bands, talked about the good old times, as well as new solo albums.

We talked about the state of the music scene after Brexit, the reasons for the band members’ disagreements, and solo albums and we recalled the good old songs.
