Nova portal says Interpol issued warrant for Kosovo Serb politician

The portal said on Thursday that Interpol has issued warrants for the arrest of former Serb List party official Milan Radoicic and 11 others involved in the September 24 Banjska armed incident in northern Kosovo. Pročitaj više

Radoicic, deputy leader of the Belgrade-backed main Kosovo Serb party, is alleged to have been involved in criminal enterprises. He was recorded by a drone at the Banjska monastery with a group of Kosovo Serbs, all armed and in uniform. said it received confirmation of the warrants from Interpol which were issued through UNMIK because Kosovo is not a member of the international police organization.

Confirmation also came from Kosovo Minister for Communities and Return Nenad Rasic who cited the Internal Affairs Ministry.

Radoicic admitted responsibility for the armed incident in which a Kosovo police sergeant and three Serbs were killed. The incident was termed an act of terrorism by the Kosovo government and the international community. Radoicic was arrested and questioned by prosecutors in Serbia.
