The High Representative in Bosnia expressed surprise that BiH missed the opportunity to receive € 70 million from the EU Growth Plan but at the same time praised the intensive and detailed work of a large number of leading political actors in the state coalition to reach a solid and future-oriented program with the EU.

“People are missing out on urgently needed money for public investments. The people have the right to expect responsibility, not anti-state or anti-Dayton actions, from some who seem to have misunderstood the seriousness of this situation,” the Office of the High Representative (OHR) wrote on X.

They added that the matter is very simple – if the RS fulfils its constitutional obligations, puts an end to long and tricky political games and appoints good judges to the Constitutional Court, stops blocking projects without a rational reason, the necessary conditions will be met.

the OHR noted that the responsibility clearly lies with the RS leadership's irrational and unprofessional blockade attitude, which harms not only the state of BiH but also the RS people.

“It is time for RS politicians to overcome amateurism and finally pursue real politics,” OHR concluded.
