Professor Hathaway: Intl Criminal Court cannot try the crime of aggression

The international community is looking for a solution for prosecuting those responsible for starting the war in Ukraine, as well as those who committed war crimes in this country, and there are several possible options on the table. An ad-hoc tribunal that would be formed through the UN, a special Ukrainian court, a special panel of the International Criminal Court or some other solutions are ideas discussed by international legal and political experts. International Law professor Oona A. Hathaway at Yale University spoke to N1 about this and what this court would look like.
