Protesters said they are determined to persevere in their demands for those who failed to prevent the murder of Amra Kahrimanovic to step down. The son of Kahrimanovic, Damir Hodzic, said that he will not give up the fight for justice for his mother as long as he lives.

“I am 27 years old, I don't know how long I will live, but I will not give up until the end of my life until those who are responsible face justice,” he said.

He stressed that the killer committed the murder with an official firearm that he should not have been carrying because he was on vacation at the time.

“Systemic failures in the work of the institutions directly affected the commission of crimes and because of all the above, the citizens of Tuzla and we as a family are launching a civic initiative,” he said.

An extraordinary session of the canton Assembly was held on Thursday. Eight conclusions were adopted, among which were requests for the resignation of the Minister of Internal Affairs of the canton.
