RS Constitutional Court issues assessment of OHR's decisions and other institutional acts

The Constitutional Court of the entity of Republika Srpska held a session today in Banja Luka, during which it discussed, as stated, "phenomena of interest for the implementation of constitutionality and legality, as well as certain administrative issues."

The Constitutional Court of Republika Srpska recalls that in previous communications it had already pointed to certain developments in the practice of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina that are significant for the functioning of the legal order of the RS entity and Bosnia and Herzegovina as a whole, as well as for the implementation of constitutionality and legality.
In addition to this issue, within the document adopted today, the Constitutional Court of Republika Srpska provided its assessment of acts adopted in the previous period by the Office of the High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as acts of other institutions which, according to the statement of the RS Constitutional Court, “have repercussions on the constitutional and legal framework of Republika Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina.”
“The highest constitutional authorities of Republika Srpska will be informed about the adopted notification and its content, in accordance with the Constitution, and it will be published in the Official Gazette of Republika Srpska,” the RS Constitutional Court stated.
