Sarajevo Run Fest 2026 brings together more than 3,000 runners from over 50 countries

More than 3,000 runners from over 50 countries gathered in Bosnia and Herzegovina's capital on Sunday for the Persil Sarajevo Half Marathon and Sarajevo 5K, held as part of the international sporting event 'Sarajevo Run Fest 2026'.

Adam Lomb won the men's Persil Sarajevo Half Marathon, while Szabo Tunde took first place in the women's category.
In the Sarajevo 5K, Berin Musanovic claimed victory in the men's category, while Emina Alagic was the winner in the women's race.
The two-day festival also featured the Fun Run and the Crvena jabuka market Bambini Marathon.
The programme began on Saturday, September 12, when the youngest participants, aged two to six, ran the Crvena jabuka market Bambini Marathon along Sarajevo's Ferhadija Street.
Traditionally, the event aims to promote a healthy and active lifestyle, togetherness and inclusion, while also strengthening Sarajevo's position as a recognised regional sports and tourism destination.
