Bosnia and Herzegovina will be hosting one of the competitions of the Strongmen Champions League on September 3 after a contract was signed between the Strongmen Champions League and the association ‘Snagator’ on Friday.

The contract was signed by the director of the Strongmen Champions League, Marcel Mostert, and the president of the association “Snagator” Damir Stroil.

The competition will take place in Sarajevo’s Ilidza municipality.

” I am glad that a prestigious world competition such as the Strongman Champions League will be held in the municipality of Ilidza. Ilidza has always been a destination with great tourist potential, known for its natural beauty, but also for the organisation of sports and entertainment events and competitions,” said the municipal Mayor, Nermin Muzur.

A member of the team organising the event, Adin Arnaut, stressed the importance of the competition.

“This is a sports event broadcast by more than a hundred TV stations for more than two billion viewers. BiH has its representative at the competitions, it is Damir Strojil, so Damir and I decided to organize the competition in BiH as well, and in that way, we promote BiH and the municipality of Ilidza,” he said.

The director of the Strongman Champions League, Marcel Mostert, said the team is excited and looking forward to the competition in BiH.

Those participating in the Strongmen Champions League World Competition will compete in 5 disciplines. The event is part of a world tour, and other than BiH, events will take place in Finland, the Netherlands, Serbia, Portugal, England, Romania and Spain.
