Member of the Presidency of the SDS, Aleksandra Pandurevic, spoke today on N1 about the political relations in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and commented on the statements following the press conference of the SNSD, where they announced that they will organize a meeting with the opposition to decide on their participation in this year's elections.

“I heard Dodik's statement on my way here, SDS will make the decision together. When Dodik was adopting the RS Election Law, he didn't ask us. The law he proposed is highly questionable and unconstitutional. It hasn't come into force yet; we only have laws at the level of BiH. They have gone a step further, where the mandates of existing members of municipal election commissions have expired, they asked the Central Election Commission to verify the mandates of new members of election commissions. This means that they are preparing to participate in elections according to Schmidt's law,” said Pandurević.

“The Minister of Finance, Srdjan Amidzic, acted according to Schmidt's law on financing BiH institutions and gave money to the Central Election Commission for conducting elections. After seeing that their spins are not succeeding, I assume Dodik expects the opposition to reject him, thus finding an excuse,” Pandurevic emphasized.

Pandurevic says that the SNSD needs to state which law they will use to participate in the elections.

“They are the ones who need to say which law they will use. Make a decision, gentlemen, don't blame others! So if we have the RS Election Law, we are electing again and RS institutions. Let's make a compromise, change the management board of the public broadcaster, appoint a new director, and let them make a concession to the opposition.”
