N1 learned from the Cantonal Interior Ministry that this robbery occurred in the early morning hours.

“This was a robbery where two unknown individuals forcibly entered the house and demanded money from a woman and then left in an unknown direction. Speaking of the elderly woman, she suffered minor injuries. Police officers are taking measures and actions to shed light on this case,” said Aldina Ahmic, the Ministry’s spokesperson.

Seventy-seven-year-old Ljeposava Petkovic, who was attacked, told the Srna news agency that the bandits broke down her door with an ax and then demanded money from her.

“I said I don't have any, where would I get the money from?” Petkovic said.

She added that one of the attackers then called the other and they ran away.
