Serbia logs 41 coronavirus deaths, 3,625 newly infected
Over the last 24 hours, 41 patients died from COVID-19-related complications and out of 16,055 tested people, 3,625 were infected with the coronavirus, Serbia's Health Ministry said on Thursday.
To date, COVID-19 claimed a total of 5,620 lives with a mortality rate of 0.89 percent.
On Thursday, 7,929 patients were hospitalised, of whom 265 on ventilators.
Since the epidemic outbreak in March 2020, 3,547,832 people have been tested, and 633,013 samples have returned positive for the new virus.
