Serbia reports 18 COVID deaths, 1,125 newly infected
Over the last 24 hours, 18 patients died from COVID-19-related complications and out of 13,089 tested people, 1,125 were infected with the coronavirus, Serbia's Health Ministry said on Tuesday.
To date, COVID-19 claimed 6,594 lives at a mortality rate of 0.94 percent.
Currently, a total of 3,701 patients were in hospitals, of whom 115 on ventilators.
Since the epidemic outbreak in March 2020, 3,952,559 people have been tested, and 702,451 have been positive for the virus.
