Serbia reports 26 coronavirus deaths, 2,138 newly infected
Over the last 24 hours, 26 patients died from COVID-19-related complications and out of 13,832 tested people, 2,138 were infected with the coronavirus, Serbia's Health Ministry said on Wednesday.
To date, COVID-19 claimed a total of 6,312 lives with a mortality rate of 0.92 percent.
On Wednesday, a total of 4,987 patients were in hospitals, of whom 161 on ventilators.
Since the epidemic outbreak in March 2020, 3,814,540 people have been tested, and 685,937 samples have returned positive for the new virus.
