Serbia reports six coronavirus deaths, 172 newly infected
Over the last 24 hours, six patients died from COVID-19-related complications and out of 9,895 tested people, 172 were infected with the coronavirus in Serbia, the Health Ministry said on Friday.
To date, COVID-19 has claimed 6,951 lives in the country. The mortality rate is 0.97 percent.
Currently, 501 people are in hospitals, 19 of whom on ventilators.
Since the epidemic outbreak in Marc 2020, 4.259.803 people have officially been tested, and 714.634have been confirmed positive for the coronavirus.
